What's new at PortAventura

Even if you've visited the Costa Daurada resort before, PortAventura keeps getting better. This year there are a number of improvements, such as a new beach club opening in the summer, as well as new attractions like Bubblebou, the fountains of Mediterranea and Chinatown.

If you're staying at the PortAventura or Caribe Resort hotels you'll be able to enjoy the sun and beach in the beautiful, unspoilt setting of the beach club.

pread over three hectares, there are seven swimming pools for you to enjoy, including sand bottom pools, children's pools, overflow pools and hot water pools. You and your family can also enjoy sports and water activities, do nothing except chill out in the spaces specially set aside for relaxation and of course you'll find a variety of restaurants.

Water is also the star of Bubblebou, where an old Chinese alchemist will create wonders with giant bubbles and fountain of Mediterranea shoots streams of water up to 35 metres into the air. Using eight hundred different jets to produce a variety of effects and 120 spotlights combine to give a light and water show like you've never seen before.

And in Chinatown you'll be entertained by Chinese acrobats putting on a show to illustrate day to day life in a typical Chinese neighbourhood.
